Creative Process Week 4

Again thinking about the theme of Light, prepare your last page spread. 

This is the time to think about how to tie all the pages together, and if there is a common element with which you could do that. 

You may also want to tie in elements from the outside cover, or vice versa: bring an element from the inside pages to the outside cover.  This gives a nice cohesiveness to the journal, and is visually pleasing.

If you are going to use a tie enclosure with ribbon, glue it in horizontally first, along the length of the book, allowing for some give and take as the book will be folded shut.  You will glue all layouts over the tie. 

When you’re satisfied with the entire layout, begin gluing down each page.

Finish with final embellishments, and a snap or button if you wish for a closure.

    Thinking about the meditation questions, how would you ‘image’ what you have heard from the Lord about light?

    How do you integrate it into the previous pages?  Do you integrate it?

    Or how would you make it different? 

          
           Do you need to rework anything in any of the other pages to better capture what happens on pg. 4?

·        
           What is the overall theme of the book that has emerged as you worked on it?    
    
    Do you need to capture that with one word or final image?    

Take three deep breaths, and begin!
